We’ve gathered a team of seasoned sailmakers—experienced professionals from Sail GP, Admiral's Cup, and the like—who live and breathe performance. We give them the resources they need to focus on designing sails that push boundaries, while our logistics and communication experts handle the rest, ensuring you get a smooth, seamless customer experience.
Our Design Vision
To create an environment where we can attract the best designers and free them from the day-to-day of running a loft. No more chasing orders, returning phone calls on repairs, or bouncing between clubs to drop of or pick up sails.
They are free to create the best possible product, and leave all of the business process and followup to their the Kraken team.
None of the constraints of franchise sail models and moulds, and no local loft management weighing them down, just the best software tools and a truely blank canvas to design sails that work for the specifics of your boat.

Precision Engineering
For the best product, that cutting edge design needs to be supported with precision engineering. Laser cutting sail panels on giant 2-axis CNC's takes space, and 20 years of manufacture means the investment has been made in the tooling needed to create the most modern and efficient sails on the market.
Fittings Matter
We use industry standard sail cloths including Dimension-Polyant, Challenge and Contender, and pair them with Seldén and Rutgerson for our hardware, so that our fittings are as strong as our sails.
Quality Assured
You check your measurements, and so do we. From making sure that the correct level of finish is applied to your sails (like gluing seams), to checking every measurement at 4 points of the build process, we know that when you receive your sails they'll be correct. And if they aren't, we would never dream of 'fixing' your brand new sail, we'd build you a new one.

Our factory has been manufacturing world class sails for over 20 years.
We have one of the only factories in the world that can print membrane sails to order.
